Elranda Llelyn is a renown shaman and one of the most powerful users of combat magic to date, with a penchant for using pyromancy. With her devastating ability to summon vaporising flames, she wreaks havoc among her enemy’s ranks and has, so far, aided in the downfall of two major Demigods of darkness, as well as numerous other quests of justice... However, such is the price she pays for her great knowledge.
Initially discovered as a stowaway with amnesia, she was recruited into the very fleet that found her and has since balanced her military career against a passionate need for freedom and discovery, whether it’s visiting the worlds teeming with Elven culture and discovering her roots, chasing down highwaymen for their gold, or hunting down rare and powerful magic to add to her arsenal.
She has since created quite a reputation for herself, having been taught over several mentors and experiences, and using that knowledge to become an enemy to the threats of Elvenkind, from ending undead risks against the natural circle of life, becoming a most unswerving defender of the Sentinels, or running around the streets of Seattle on behalf of the Tir nations.
Elranda is pretty much the antithesis of your traditional Rhydin woman. For one thing, beyond being utterly removed from the role of damsel in distress (though not adverse to those who are), she's also not an immortal in the strictest sense, and can be hurt or killed in virtually the same way as any Human. For another, while she runs the Moonstar Tavern, she actually rather hates that she owns it, and would much more at home living a “jet-setter” lifestyle of vagabond travels and daily restaurant trips. She views caring for the Moonstar as more of a necessity than anything else.
Elranda's main motivations would definitely seem to be money and power, but she also goes out of her way to actively promote the Elven way, seeking out her race's foes and eliminating them, either through words or actions. Acting as both a diplomat and a one-Elf army, she insures the safety of the Elf race. This is especially true for the undead, whom they see not only as perversions of nature, but also as immortal foes to be dreaded and loathed, and fighting alongside the many holy warriors with fearless souls inspired her with the responsibility of protecting the sanctity of the world.
Elranda has many negative personality traits: she’s bad-tempered, dishonest, haughty, possessive, ruthless, spiteful, thieving, vengeful, vindictive, and basically thinks only of money, food, and learning new, powerful spells. She can be extremely sarcastic and biting towards other races at times in close positions, especially Dwarves, although she is polite and well-mannered in public usually. Once you've broken past the exterior, however, you are greeted with a kind, gentle, caring soul, pleasant and friendly to be with, although retaining a playful sarcasm. Fundamentally, though, she's still good-natured and well-intentioned on the whole..
